Robotics

VEX Robotics : Educational Robotics for everyone. I have been in the VEX Robotics since grade 6.
Our team is made up of three of us: Builder, coder, journalist (primary driver).
My primary responsibility is to code the robot and my secondary responsibility is to build. Every year VEX releases new challenge. Based on the challege, we build the robot to complete unique tasks.
I code in Python ( can be convered to blocked coding as well):

1. Autonomouns Drive (50 Points)

2. Drivetrain (80-150 Points)

I am responsible for coding both 1 & 2.

Off to the state tournament in March 2024 !!

2022-2023 Season

Problem Statement and Solution : During the autonomous time, the robot was not abel to move forward in a straighline due to a structural issue with the wheel. Since we running against time to rebuilt the robot, I decided to find an alternate solution with created an algorithm, created a forumula to recalibrate every cm.

2021-2022 Season

My first VEXIQ tournamet

  • My primary task was coding the drivetrain

Problem Solving : ( Drive train efficiency and extentendign the battery life ).
The motor we had was not as efficient as the regular VEXIQ. I came up with an idea to maximize the energy output from the motor using my code so that it would not overheat.
